David is one of the newest additions to the Seeking Integrity family (joining in early 2023), having sought out work in recovery after his own transformative experience in residential treatment and subsequent involvement in the Los Angeles recovery community. A lifelong professional musician and educator, his own journey and commitment to recovery (in a program focused on addressing unhealthy attachment, disordered intimacy, limerence, and validation-seeking) informs his deep connection and relationship/relatability with clients as a lecture group facilitator, behavioral health technician at the treatment center residence, and real-time resource on support calls. Beyond SI:LA, David also chairs relational recovery panels at substance-abuse treatment centers and serves as program-specific literature administrator for greater Los Angeles. He is extremely grateful for the opportunity to be of service to those navigating their own recovery path, and to work with and learn from Seeking Integrity’s world-class team of therapists, doctors, and support staff.
